Phoenix Sky Harbor is the easiest major airport for most guests, with a scenic drive north that is usually just under two hours. Flagstaff Pulliam is closer and smaller, but flight options may be more limited.

Low-key Sedona

Catch sunset from Airport Mesa before or after checking into the lodge.
Wander Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village for galleries, patios, and a slower afternoon.
Visit Chapel of the Holy Cross for red rock views and a quiet architectural stop.

Outside time

Use the trailhead shuttle for Cathedral Rock, Little Horse, Soldier Pass, Dry Creek Vista, or Mescal when service is active.
Pack water, sun protection, and shoes with grip even for short red rock walks.
Start early if hiking. Parking and trail traffic get tighter later in the day.

Plan a buffer between airport arrival and wedding events. The drive into Sedona is beautiful but can slow down around town.
Stay on Airport Mesa, West Sedona, Uptown, or the Village of Oak Creek depending on whether you want quiet views, easy restaurants, or a shorter scenic drive.
